ROAD TRACKER
is the name of a single seated car to share in national and international races on track (Magny-cours, Sylverstone,…) ;
it matches the formula Ford regulations. This category represents one of the first steps to formula 1 through
which Ayrton Senna, Damon Hill, Mickael Shumacher, ... had been discovered.
As the formula Ford is an international category, the level of drivers and
car performances has grown for 25 years to reach the present high competition.
So as to excell it, the ROAD TRACKER had had to be perfectcly designed.
The insertion of new concepts had been the way chosen by the engeneering team
in the early 1995. When the ROAD TRACKER had run its first track tests,
all choices had appeared the right solutions for this category.
The ROAD TRACKER
shared in its first race in 1997 at Le Castelet (south of France) where the car
signed the sixth best qualifying time after its overall 400 kms (250 miles).
